i've got client insists on being reg123.co.uk. can see hidious hosting provider.

 

anyone have experience @ all. can't work out hosting package needed complicated. need linux server supports php , cpanel or parrells.

 

client has given me login details control panel on reg123.co.uk nothing cpanel or parrells. i'm trying locate phpmyadmin , databases.

 

its complex though have page contol panel login. i'm wondering if client needs buy special package cpanel or parrells hosting?

are these hosts, reg123.co.uk, provide 1 control panel showing websites hosted them good? mean happens in case of having hand off website else, how access websites control panel without having login in panel shows other websites? i've never used them seems me mad way of working unless i'm missing something.

do mean 123-reg.co.uk? have been host several years , have been reliable far great support - no issues report. have base package - linux starter yearly gives me need run wordpress etc.

 

is different site referencing?

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
