The alt key does not work when viewing pdf files in Ie or Firefox

hi,

after have updated adobe x , xi, have encountered serious accessibility problem!
when viewing pdf file on web, both using ie8 or ie9 or  firefox, alt key not move menu bar, usual , expected behavior in windows applications.

for blind screen reader users, or not use mouse, means way access menu commands remember shortcut keys functions, kontrol+p print. of course not can remember shortcuts, , shortcuts shift+kontrol+s (in danish version of acrobat reader) not standard windows shortcut key.
i hope problem fixed in update possible.

i cannot reproduce that; windows 7, reader 11.0.2: firefox 20.0.1 , internet explorer 10 - both go file button on menu bar when pressing alt key.  happens whether pdf open on tab or not.

 

correction: in firefox, when pdf open, , cursor inside document (e.g. in scrolling mode), alt key nothing.  if cursor e.g. in address bar, works expected.

 

with ie10 works correctly in both ways.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
