Thread: Adding Data to MySql using Workbench?

i running 11.10 11.04 workbench, latest version saw. connected database , able create tables. when right click on table , select either "select rows - limit 1000" or "edit table data" new window in wb gives me select statement. when click on lightning bolt execute, nothing happens!

of happening on machine @ home have installed linux. home page of wb looks same windows version running @ work. version on linux after connecting db different windows version, looks sites have seen in searches. linux version have 5.2.37 not know why is.

can explain me why linux version drastically different , how can enter data?

i don't know workbench, can't there.

can tell mysql-admin , mysql-query-browser (they in repositories) have worked me.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
