Thread: BackInTime BackUp took too much disk space. No booting possible


hi folks,
used backintime first time today. wanted backup external hard drive on laptop. didn´t think snapshot take space hard drive went full till last mb. couldn´t delete snapshot. not terminal (ubuntu). opening bit (root) said me sth "x-authorisation. sth sth not possible"
strangely couldn t create more space deleting other stuff on drive although stopped process. freed 5 gb still 0mb left. decided restart fault, cause since can t boot ubuntu system. stopps @ beginning telling me login user (which didn´t before). log in name : nothing happens. further more sais sth problem energy configuration , s it. on windows (which fortunately kept) , can´t access ubuntu files. ´s kinda sth mind....
do?

you can use ubuntu live cd access/copy/move files. run cd without installing.

went wrong, don't know. sorry, not use backintime.

can tell use clonezilla , lucky backup , grsync backing , work fine.

lucky backup , grsync in software center. both products gui rsync have installed default.
