Thread: easy file manager tool to batch file copy files

issue: used photorec tool recover files drive. recovered bunch of different sub-folders, alot of files, (approx 250k) want search of subfolders @ once , copy jpg, seperate folder computer slow on cpu , memory easy, quick possible, low resource tool pull files out type, ie. *.jpg, *.exe, subdirectories , cp them new folder.
suggestions welcome.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
