Thread: how to create a startup launcher for alsa settings

hi,
have sound problem on gigabyte w566u intel core2duo laptop.
recorder not work unless :
open terminal,
type alsamixer
change mic intenal mic (to have use tab jump next page, , arrow keys go mic column , use up/down arroes choose internal mic)
problem settings in alsa going default after reboot , need these settings in order use applications>sound&video>recorder , in order talk in skype without having connect headphones + speaker set.
using ubuntu 10.10 64-bit.
have tried kinds of methods save alsamixer's settings non of them worked after reboot wish create script run automatically on startup , these actions(and have done once, 2 years ago, accompanied accurate instructions forum, don't know myself).
possible ? (though, sure finding way save alsamixer's settings must easier seems nobody knows how - post watched 72 times, , replied 0 times.)
thanks

if can listed commands, can insert sequency of commands file /etc/rc.local

there @ bottom line with
code:
exit
you paste command want executed @ startup above line.

if things cannot done commands must create script , apply settings gets executed @ startup..

p.s. have no expirience scripts @ all. know has bash script. can either google how make or ask make 1 you..
