Thread: How to run xubuntu-desktop???

hey everyone,

have installed ubuntu 11.04 chroot onto hp touchpad. used command "apt-get install xubuntu-desktop" download xfce desktop, can't figure out how start it. command should type run it? example, lxde "lxdesession."

suggestions appreciated.

sign out, , on login screen there should box says unity or whatever using , press , xfce should option

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
