Thread: JHBUILD: Error during phase configure of guile1

hi everyone,
following this guide compile gnome shell. jhbuild sanitycheck, there trouble run jhbuild bootstrap. error @ installing guile1:

configure: error: libltdl not found. see readme.
*** error during phase configure of guile1: ########## error running ./configure --prefix /opt/gnome --libdir '/opt/gnome/lib' --enable-error-on-warning=no --disable-static --disable-gtk-doc *** [3/4]

tried installing both guile 1.6 , 1.8 using apt-get, without success.

google search didn't gave me anything.

already!

edit: found it, installed libtdl-dev package

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
