hello, trying use mplayer play video coming in tuner card have connected pc. card hauppauge hvr 950q. mplayer able detect device, far not having luck in getting display video it. know device work because able tvtime work it. suppose in need of general expertise has tried mplayer "play nice" tv tuner card. main goal mplayer working can dump video file, don't believe can done tvtime.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
