Thread: not able to format ubuntu using win7 disk

i m using ubuntu... want format ubuntu , want install window 7. m not able format ubuntu partition using window 7 installation disk... wat should do?

use gparted ubuntu life system or other life system partedmagic.com or similar , delete partition there.
can set partition windows gui tool.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
