is there free and/or open-source versions of microsoft expression encoder ubuntu 10.04 gnome? specifically, i'm looking can allow me record audio played through computer's sound mixer. found "gtk-recordmydesktop" in ubuntu software center, similar, except i'd able choose between making video recording of desktop (or specific window) , making audio recording of being played on computer (most programs detect microphone input, not audio sources).

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
