how can change search tool in ubutu 11.10 gnome desktop
existing search tool not work, has lot of malfunction

which search tool talking about, , kind of problems having it?

(there many search tools included default, , solving kind of problem pretty requires describe problem, saying doesn't work doesn't give people work with...)

edit: if talking search in dash menu, searches used files , directories (plus installed applications, , music banshee's library). full file/directory search use search tool in file manager...

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
