Thread: Second RAM is not detected

greetings

installed ubuntu 11.04 , it's first experience linux please patient me.

got 2 separate ram plugged in desktop pc, on windows xp , detected +1.8g of ram when checking system settings->system info, can see 741.1 mb of memory.

can ubuntu detect of available memory? (if need additional info please ask)

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
