Trying to transfer photoshop elements

i bought new macbook air , i'd transfer photoshop elements previous mac desktop computer. i've tried transferring files through screenshare, when try open error message saying, configuration error: please uninstall , reinstall product. if problem still occurs, please contact adobe technical support help, , mention error code shown @ bottom of screen. error code 6.

 

what doing incorrectly?

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
