i understand benefits adobe of offering discounts students , teachers (and other groups). when 1 ceases student, adobe can foreward "full-priced" revenue stream versions upgraded.

 

what plan segments of population of far, see little mention:

 

i have 3 basic questions:

 

1. mean end geagraphic pricing anomalies? or (for example) european residents still have pay 30% more residents?

 

2. if subscriber suffers prolonged illness, drop in income or unemployment , has make choice stop paying subscription, adobe cut them off service? consider please that, if many software companies take route (e.g ms office 365), monthly subscriptions become significant outgoing.

 

3. similar case applies pensioners , perhaps of disabled community, on fixed incomes. adobe offer discounts these groups?

 

until recently, people in situations describe in (2) & (3) @ least rely on using legacy products years. seems, not case. has adobe given thought above? how such practices comply abobe's corporate social responsibility policy? ( http://www.adobe.com/uk/corporate-responsibility.html)

 

i hope "business case" drives quarterly numbers, not discriminate against large sections of adobe's users around world find in reduced financial circumstances.

and, how many of in demanding production environment continue use older version because of bugs adobe introduces upgrades. install new version , test them time allows.

 

many time using older version necessity because of these introduced bugs.

 

god, can't adobe fix tool delay or icon creation bug in cs6. if can't go , use previous version screwed. how many times adobe release bug ridden software requires keep previous version have guarantee not delay clients project or customers order.
