How to resize layer in percentage relative to image size?
hi,
say have image 100x100 pixles. , want take 1 of layers , resize 50% of image size, 50 pixles. how can accomplish that?
the reason ask, have multiple images different size. have signature (ie. watermark) same size. want able place signature, , resize xx% of image placed on. way, should have same proportions.
thanks in advance!
you can scale percentage of original layer size going edit > transform > scale. in transform options menu, there option scale percentage - make sure click on link icon between height , width fields maintain aspect ratio of layer.
however, if wanted scale layer relative canvas size, think need scripting or use actions... might want ask around on photoshop general discussion or photoshop scripting forums see if has solution.
