Published site has huge gap between content and footer

so have published site , when @ after being published have 2 inch gap between bottom of content , footer.

 

i have read on number of bits , pieces , mauy have hidden container on pages, totally accepted searched , nothing. thought might issue master page using, checked that. couldnt see it.

 

however when looked through site , saw master pages used had mix , worked , didnt. im lost!!!

 

i launch on sat , bit of pain. has had issue? preivew looks fine, im not sure gap coming from.

 

thanks in advance!

i had problem because had html in footer causing it. took me forever figure out. not sure if it's same or not, if have code there try moving it.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
