Thread: can't browse ipad app files/data

with ipad 2 connected itunes on mac or windows, can browse files associated particular apps (e.g. pdfs , audio files used/created in unrealbook).

on ubuntu, cannot find way this. have libimobiledevice2 installed, , can browse:
  • the ipad music library in rhythmbox
  • the ipad's photo library in shotwell
  • various directories in nautilus


... can't find files saved 3rd party apps anywhere @ all. since itunes can see files, know device knows how communicate them. there way access in ubuntu?

(i'm running ubuntu 11.04 on thinkpad x61, , ios 5.0.1 on ipad)

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
