Thread: Can Ubuntu 11.10 use Netflix normally?

i have been wondering time now, used watch netflix on old pc, seems ubuntu doesn't have system requirements. seems odd, have moonlight (which seems linux equivalent of windows silverlight). please note, pc up-to-date.

moonlight not include proprietary "digital-rights management" code microsoft includes in silverlight. netflix uses drm software control access streams. short answer no.

amazon's instant video service uses flash , plays fine in linux.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
