Thread: Clementine Doesn't Properly Sync to Ipod

i have 5th generation ipod , trying sync clementine.

instead of clementine modifying ipod database, copies music files on if hard drive. ipod cannot play files way.

don't option tell convert music files ipod friend format. can either tell clementine not convert or convert (the middle choice grayed out).

these inherent issues clementine , ipods?

i've tried banshee, rhythmbox, , amarok , not of them.

banshee freezes lot.
rhythmbox works, doesn't move album art on ipod.
amarok freezes lot too, , ui silly.

clementine far, downloaded use ipod , it's not working correctly far.

have suggestions?

have ubuntu 11.10 , recent version of clementine.

think you're going have use itunes or don't buy ipod. apple wants force itunes stores, they're going possible prevent bypassing itunes. never able 5th generation ipod work itunes, maybe didn't try hard enough.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
