Thread: flash update issue 8.04

im running 8.04 not old firefox 3.6.17 update flash said have flash7 not take 10 update... installed firefox 9 if load root terminal works , have flash 10 if load clicking on thhe icon or through terminal(not root) has flash7.... ideas don't want root terminal open time.

how did install firefox 9? shouldn't use root terminal run firefox, otherwise cause issues profile folder ownership.

need download firefox mozilla , extract home folder, launch there.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
