hello, friend of mine came me, beacus knows have linux, , asked me remove viruses usb, beacus other friend infect them, whole flash usb music mp3. formats, problem can`t remove "viruses: .exe files somehow can`t move them trash, can please.

well, see several possibilities.

first, dress in black, light 6 candles in circle, put usb drive in middle , move around circle jumping 3 times on left leg , 3 times on right, jamming uuuh-mmmh.

if doesn't help,
a) try copying mp3 files off drive , reformat it;
b) open terminal , run ls -l on see permissions files have want remove, adjust permissions , run rm on them.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
