Thread: How do I make it so that some accounts don't require a password.

for reasons boring explain here have several users i'd set accounts no not require passwords log in. in earlier versions of ubuntu trivial, checkbox. checkbox missing.

how do it?

if using oneiric (11.10), go system settings->user accounts, set auto login.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
