Thread: How to change the close button to right

got used being on right. there way move close, minimize, maximize buttons right ? can aero in 11.10 ? have 6 gb ram , amd graphics card.

open gconf-editor

key want edit in apps/metacity/general. click on + button next “apps” folder, beside “metacity” in list of folders expanded apps, , click on “general” folder.

button layout can changed changing “button_layout” key. double-click button_layout edit it.

change text in value text field to:

menu:maximize,minimize,close

click ok , change occur immediately, changing location of window buttons in configuration editor.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
