Thread: Install 11.10 Acer Aspire One ZA3 wont

i wanted fresh install gf's acer aspire 1 za3 usb boot disk. stops @ prompt after selecting either try or install. have tried using boot options such no acpi results in grey screen (i hear login sound) , nothing. ideas?

are sure got download? did check md5sum of download?
using flash drive or usb cd drive? work on computer?
how did create bootable device?
these few questions ask first. please excuse me if have considered them.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
