Thread: Laptop suddenly powered down

my asus aspire k60ij laptop powered down twice tonight while running kubuntu. lights went out , screen went black. it's hardware problem, can't sure of that. thought might due overheating, here's sensors gives me:

aside abrupt shutdown, i've seen no indication of hardware difficulties. had power adapter plugged in time.

how 1 go diagnosing sort of thing?

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
