Thread: No Audio on a SONY VAIO

hello,

have installed ubuntu no problem on number of home computers , laptops (although not expert means) , have run problem sony vaio pcg-71613l laptop. runs fine except no sound comes speaker. trying install 64bit 10.04

if helps laptop dual boot windows 7 speakers work fine.

use alsa-info-script provide detailed information.
run command in terminal:
