Thread: Problem With The Workspace Switcher on Ubuntu 11.10

i installed ubuntu 11.10 on machine- except little problem workspace switcher. when have 2 windows open side-by-side (you know when drag each window edge of screen , make fit in half of screen), if try switch new desktop using workspace switcher- 2 windows move new desktop....if know mean there way fix this? or glitch in ubuntu 11.10- or meant that?

btw- doesnt happen when have 2 windows running without doing drag-and-fit thingy...ie- stay in desktop opened in.

ever since let update manager install bunch of updates, workspace switcher doesn't work anymore. tried resetting unity desktop, , noticed couple of buggy client messages in logs. i'm thinking either updates didn't install properly, or updates need removed.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
