Use of the same license on a second machine

from video on adobe tv:

- license tied adobe id

- use adobe id download , activate software on machine number 1, machine number 2 - works transparently.

- when try running software on machine number 3 popup saying license activated on 2 other machines, if continue previous 2 machines deactivated.

- continue, software starts on machine number 3

- machine number 1 - software starts , activates transparently second activation on current license.

 

i don't it.

what exacly stops me installing software on 10 machines, , running 1 @ time - i'll license deactivation prompt every , click continue , goes away.

i'm guessing can run software on 2 machines @ same time (it ofcourse illegal) prompt not show till tried running on third one.

 

is there limit of how many times can deactivate/transfer license machine?

kaczorefx if try activate on machine #2 receive message have exceeded amount of allowable activations.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
