Adobe Edge Animate won't install - says beta product present

i had adobe edge animate beta on windows 7 x64 laptop @ 1 time , uninstalled it.  recently, heard out of beta , available download in creative cloud.  when go install in application manager, error stating need close program , uninstall beta.  adobe edge animate not listed when search in programs , features list of programs uninstall.  there legacy files need rid of on system fix issue?

i believe issue program called adobe edge preview. uninstalled that, , able install adobe edge animate.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
