Removing empty space from a screen shot

i using photoshop cs6 prepare images use in online , print / pdf user guide company's newest software / web app.  do remove blank space screen capture? curious if add type of indicator tells user actual image larger.  here 3 screen shots better illustrate wondering about.  thanks.

 

the first screen shot (left right) typical screen shot i've not edited.  in second one, i've cut bottom button bar , moved reduce white space in image.  in third image, added quick , dirty little "wave" tell i've cut out of white space. do , type of indicator add, if treat images third one, here.

i'd inclined add 3 vertically aligned dots, sort of vertical ellipsis.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
