Save-as and Open Dialogue box options. ~ Windows style vs Adobe style

i have 2 identical machines, running ccv6 software. on 1 machine have libraries option in save box , in other it's using adobe pre-set options. have not edited registry file. not running aftermarket plug-ins. there must dialoge box somwehere, can't find it. it's making me crazy trying drill down save files.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
