never ran difficulty before, cannot seem applications remember put windows or size wanted them be, if being started unity.

not starting in full screen mode, neither 'remembering' size , location when closed.
there internal setting - not getting updated when adjusted , closed? has been part of 'how things are' long can't think begin.

gnome 3 thing? unity thing? override setting somewhere else missed? appreciated, thought getting close workable unity system....

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
