hi, can't blender , other 3d programs run properly. in blender, can subdivide , object once; more crashes, in both linux blender , exe running under wine. , other 3d programs don't open in first place. there driver or package need install these work?

are using blender version ubuntu's repositories, or latest 1 website?

, since blender runs it's whole user interface using opengl, kind of graphics card have, , drivers using it? , of course specs of rest of system?

finally, have tried start blender terminal? should @ least give error message when blender crashes you'd have bit more information went wrong...

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
