Thread: Centrino N-1030 has a hard time to connect in Ubuntu 11.10

hi all,

have asus laptop, when try "enable wireless" goes right off. takes more several times connecting , disconnecting within network manager work. never connects , have use wired connection.
driver iwlagn , problem started when upgraded ubuntu 11.10.
uname -a:
linux asus 3.0.0-14-generic #23-ubuntu smp mon nov 21 20:28:43 utc 2011 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 gnu/linux

can provide appreciated.

update: problem solved updating kernel.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
