Thread: False low-battery hibernation

my lenovo laptop ubuntu 11.10 oneiric says battery low , goes hibernation.

however, happens when laptop has been plugged in full day, , power settings app (both icon on desktop panel , full gui), correctly shows battery full.

behavior not consistent.

how can address this?

do have other operating systems in can see if have same problem? may problem battery.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
