Thread: Foot pedal USB w/ Keyboard HID, Remapping second keyboard to custom keys

hey all,

i've purchased foot pedal usb device ebay, , appears interface keyboard rather joystick.

appears device using keyboard protocol (see lspci dump below).

currently, without configuration, tapping pedals results in equivalent of pressing keys b or c depending on pedal pressed - fine needs.

i'm wondering, how go re-mapping keys 1 specific usb device keys of choice? i'm hoping bind these events in ratpoison wm eventually, means can pretty key, given need current keyboards a, b , c keys function correctly, things little complicated... i'm scratching head start on one, advice appreciated
