Thread: Gnome 3 taskbar is so lonely....

hello everyone,

have ubuntu oneiric ocelot installed on pc (11.10) , use gnome 3 shell (for think looks totally awesome , works more practical)

when start program, appears in bar on top, taskbar guess, if start program, disappears taskbar , replaced other program.

wondering if there way can make active programs visible on taskbar, , if there is, how!!

i don't thinks , have found shell themes use text instead if icons , not work in case . if start adding extensions use panel space indicators panel can fill fast depending on size of monitor . https://extensions.gnome.org/

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
