Thread: Gnome Documents only sees contents of Documents folder

hello all

i'm trying gnome shell out on top of 12.04 testing see.

  • i installed gnome documents repositories, brought tracker it.
  • i've set locations in tracker along lines in page. http://www.webupd8.org/2011/10/insta...untu-1110.html
  • gnome documents can see documents in ~/documents folder, , sub-directories of folder, not seeing outside that, including thousands of documents in ~/dropbox folder.
  • desktop search (needle) finds file in home drive fine.


expected behaviour gnome documents?

there way convince gnome documents should display files other parts of local drive?

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
