hello,

making high-quality publication images computational chemistry work. problem none of ubuntu's image viewers (eog, gpicview, qiv, gqview, gwenview, gthumb) able open 28.8 megapixel image. composite of smaller images, , programs have no problem opening smaller image files.

use lower quality format .png or .jpg produces serious distortions in image.

there trick i'm missing here?

have tried imagej? seems 'natural' software asking for.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
