Thread: Installing Ubuntu on MAC as simple as installing on Windows?

i planning buy new laptop , i'm ubuntu fanatic. i'd know whether procedure of installing ubuntu on mac simple , straight-forward on windows machine. if i'll go mac otherwise i'll stick lenovo.

i'm not advance in linux stuff -)

not simple installing windows since bootcamp takes care of that, simple. took me 20 minutes air setup , running.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
