Thread: Logs eating up all disk space

i have problem logfiles. 3 logfiles, is:

kern.log
messages
syslog

grown 21.2 gb each, making 63.6 gb total. don't want keep them, anyway. seems wasting space millions of lines. safe clean them , how it?

they shouldn't growing large.

have checked them error messages?

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
