Thread: sd-card mounts but is not visible

hi there - please not angry, because have olde problem.i ve looked around, no solution, easy me obvious trick:

problem: can not read sd card

sd card mounted , recognised, tried commands

: sd-card reader not show in nautilus or other, how can access files on sd card?

no reply? guess forums not anymore had been before.


anyway solved problem of friend - , had apple mac.

apple mac, stick in, recognises drive, shows fotos not access - thanks!

also

apple mac, suggests fix problem, ok, fixed problem - thanks!


card works again in ubuntu, system more prefer, still...

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
