Thread: Skype incoming video is white

hi all,

seems linux community facing issues skype.

ok issue after solving usual problems getting blank/white image other side when using video.

cam works fine, see myself, others can see me, al ok on side, on other side, friends can see me, see normally, see white white screen. happy new year thing?

using fujitsu-siemens scenic n320 amd 64 bit athelon processor , os ubuntu & debian (32 bit + 64 bit), tried that...

try in terminal:
ld_preload=/usr/lib/libv4l/v4l1compat.so /usr/bin/skype

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
