hello, wise , honorable python forum users.

beginning teach myself python 2 , have set goal make text adventure rpg, complete races, classes, stats, different attacks, etcetera.

i've done googling , asking programming savvy friends, haven't found data how go making game of kind in python. i'm unsure how go implementing races different stats , allowing player choose, , other similar advanced choices.

can provide insight?

i can't advise python, here's can tell programming.

started doing it, sooner better. procrastination enemy.

learn go. don't let inexperience excuse procrastination.

not sure how implement feature? code know , revise later. you'll develop sense of works , doesn't.

expect code change drastically on time, during revisions. trashing hundreds of lines of ill conceived code , starting scratch not unheard of. it's part of learning.

share ideas others, , remain open better ideas.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
