hey guys,

i've been reading (and doing) linux command line william shotts http://linuxcommand.org/, i'm progressing, find i'm forgetting stuff learned in previous chapters due lack of exercises. wondering if there book or web page exercises each command seen knowledge sink in?

i'm reading (borrowed local library) "a practical guide linux commands, editors, , shell programming" mark g. sobell. each chapter has exercises - answers half (can't remember if it's or odd ones) available on web page.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings. how do I change the e-mail address for my merchant account
