Transferring a license when lost contact with original owner?

i bought production premium cs3 while second hand ebay. when bought gave me details said able transfer license on with. ive had installed on laptop while now, never got round transferring license. year ago , cant find details or in contact them transfer license over. there way still transfer license on myself without needing in contact them?

no. both sides must provide info. more relevant question is, though, whether actualyl ever registered software adobe. if not, have nothing worry about...

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
