Unable to install flash

i have ie10 64 bits have disabled active x filtering - in managed addons enabled java. turned off firewall. tools-security-trusted sites-custom level-disabled active , controls plugin , automatic prompting active x controls. under internet enabled scripting. @ first flash wouldn't install , once turned off fire wall seemed solve problem except when reutrned adobe website check see if installed didn't- blank space indicate no installation. worst of can't on line banking.  have tried in past 2 days it's ended flash did not installed. did uninstall couple of times trying start on clean start , not have installed now. i'm hoping maybe see cd try in order flash installed. help.

what windows version?

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
