How do I protect a PDF doc on the website so readers can't download or copy?

i need protect documents on website. pdf docs. how can set pdf can't downloaded , 'read only' no ability copy text, diagrams , pictures?

to read pdf file on internet, first downloaded. ask doesn't make sense seems. once downloaded, file can shared, copied, , reposted. that's how things are.

 

what @ if pockets deep indeed "drm". still doesn't stop files being shared, saved, copied, means can make copies useless.

i using ubuntu desktop on lucid , keyboard changes british keys american keys, #/£, ~/| , "/@ around. in system->preferences->keyboard menu have set keyboard uk. when log via putty uk keys come out right. there other place more configuration required? /vfclistsguy actually settings should enough.. can try setxkbmap -query see current layout settings.
