Mastering but losing my mind with a "gap" between 2 tracks which shouldn't be there. What is wrong?
i have album i've been working on while , it's finished exception of 1 small glitch...
throughout album have around 4 overlapping tracks, when burning tracks disc, 3 out of 4 of tracks crossover next track perfectly. 1 of them doesn't...
my 1st method: paste 2nd track on end of 1st track, cut 2nd overlapped track , paste on original 2nd track, whilst saving on shortened 1st track... ( this, whilst not great method, has never failed me in past , worked on the other overlapping tracks).
so realised wasn't great method tried method 2.
my 2nd method: drop mixdowns 1 waveform (in edit view), , create markers using marker list , f8, each track starts bang on next .001 of second.
again, 3 out of 4 fine, other... can still tiniest click!
it's click listener not notice, it's click killing me because label putting out cd on me final mix them, won't submit until click has gone.
things should note:
1. when played in winamp, there no clicks. when burnt disc.
2. i've used adobe audition 3.0 burn audio disc no silence between tracks.
3. i've used nero burn audio disc no silence between tracks.
4. i've used multiple computers/dvd burners test this.
5. i've used multiple brands of cd-rs.
6. i'm sure there not cilck on waveform.
7. 1st track leading 2nd track (i'm aware there 2 second gap before 1st track)
8. i've played burnt cd-r on pc, dvd player, computer @ work, car stereo.
please me this, it's driving me nuts i've worked hard , perfected thing, , need submit soon.
is there software reccomed split tracks should try?
thank you!
cd tracks should not starting on nearest .001 of second 1/75 of second. cd standard 75 frames per second. if tracks not start on nearest 1/75 of second audio filled out nearest 1 causing clicks @ junctions. make sure display time format set compact disc 75fps , snap frames turned on.
